Two heads, one ambition

It was in 1757 that our illustrious company, Hankey Bannister & Co., began its journey to create a whisky that would satisfy our clientele's demand for a high quality spirit that could be enjoyed in London society and the world beyond.

As a man about town, with my own superior aristocratic connections, I was well aware of the high standards expected by ladies and gentlemen of quality when choosing spirits. When it came to managing the practical side of our venture, I was lucky to be joined by one Mr Hugh Bannister, a man with a shrewd business sense coupled with an industrious nature and wealth of experience to boot.

And so it was that we set out together in the pursuit of a single goal – that of providing the very finest wines and spirits to the good people of London.

Over the years word spread throughout the Empire about Hankey Bannister and our products are still enjoyed today by people across the globe.
